Hey everyone!
Hey everyone!! 2010 has already been a great year, and we are planning some great things for the rest of the year to come. We have had a couple shows so far, and they have been extremely fun! For all of those that came out to support, we thank you with high fives all around. We are in the studio now recording another EP! This is going to be filled with tasty licks, intriguing melodies, and thoughtful lyrics. We have a short, week long tour coming up in February that we are pumped for!!! We are going to be in Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana, so if you’re reading this and you’re from there, hopefully you can come out to the show. We are also going to be at this years South By Southwest festival in Austin Texas. The band decided to invest in a camera so we can show you what is going on during shows, road trips, and this whole recording process. Well, we will have some new stuff for your listening ears in the near future. Holla!!!

So we made the top 12 in the “Hometown for the Holidays” contest on 93.3. This means that we need your vote to go onto the next round. The next round consists of 3 bands who will be chosen by a survey that you will fill out. All you need to do is click here and you will be wooshed away to the 93.3 survey sign up. You just sign up and they should send you a survey to fill out or you may be able to fill it out right away. Vote honestly, or if you don’t want to vote honestly, give us the highest marks and the rest of the bands lower marks…that’s if you don’t want to vote honestly. But do what your heart tells you. Thanks for everyone who is supporting us by listening and coming to our shows…by the way, we have a show at the Larimer Lounge on Saturday night. It is going to be sweet and we may have a special guest or two who will be making an appearance on stage with us…I wonder who it’s going to be. Maybe you…….See you there

Just woke up after a great night of hanging with good peeps and great art. We got the chance to play at the Denver Art Museum for an event called Untitled. This one was called “Toast” and it was all about celebration. And trust me, a celebration was had by all. If you have never been you should check it out here. That museum is seriously impressive.

Besides being snooty art critics we have been working on some new music that we can’t wait to share with each and every one of you at some of our upcoming shows. Hope to see you soon and happy holidays from the Churchill camp.

We had a great opportunity to be on our local TV station. We are playing at the Denver Film festival on Sunday night, so they promoted the Festival by having us play. Here is a link to the video. Hope you like it!!
Hey everybody in the world!! We just finished a great weekend of shows, and met a lot of cool people at the venues. Our first stop was the Marquis Theater in Denver. It was our biggest venue yet and the biggest crowd yet. The show consisted of Snake Rattle Rattle Snake, The Still City, and The Rouge. We were the opener and received a great response from the crowd. Here is some advice for the next time you go to a show; make sure you know what band you are buying from before you give them money to buy a CD. We that happen. It was just as awkward for him as it was for us when he looked at the band on the cover of the CD and sighed, “Oh…this is Churchill…” Our next show was at Everyday Joe’s in Fort Collins. We played with Andrea Ball and SHEL. This show was our best yet and the place was really packed. We have a couple of shows coming up including a TV interview, playing some songs on the tube, and playing at the Denver Film Festival. Hope to see you through the TV.
The weather is cold, but Halloween is almost here. If you are in town over this crazy pseudo holiday, you should attend the Meese show at the Gothic theater. You can all dress up and come to the show. It will be fun. In other news…we just got the opportunity to play at the Stars Denver Film Festival. I think we are all going to dress up as our favorite movie star for that…it will be good. In other other news, we have wing stop tonight and it is going to be awesome. In other other other news, Lebron James is really good at basketball.
Hey everyone! We had a very productive week this last week. We were able to go into Comcast studios and film a couple of HD videos. It was an awesome opportunity and we are going to get them in a couple of weeks. It was a very surreal experience for everyone because it was like we were on the set of a late night tv show. After multiple shootings, three being in HD 3D, we were able to see one of the “line” cuts and the videos are going to look awesome. Then we finally got our EP on iTunes, so if you haven’t purchased it, you can easily purchase it on iTunes. We also found out last night that our songs got on Lance Armstrong’s documentary “Race against the Sky.” They played during the credits, but any publicity is good publicity right? We are very blessed and can’t wait to see what’s next.

Thanks to that miracle of modern music, the iTunes store, you can now painlessly purchase your own digital Churchill EP from the cozy comfort of whatever internet access place you’re at!
